As we near the end of the Italian Serie A season, 2 teams are left battling out for the Scudetto this year. Reigning champions Juventus, with a game in hand, are 5 points ahead of rivals Roma with 7 and 6 games remaining respectively.
With 6 consecutive wins, Roma is making a push to catch Juventus, but it might be coming just a little too late. Added to that the fact that Juve’s schedule over the last few weeks is one of the easiest in the entire league with games against most of the bottom of the table, it isn’t looking good for Roma.
The one thing that Roma has on their side is the fact that Juventus have to visit the Stadio Olimpico in the penultimate game of the season. However, if the Giallorossi are to stop Juve defending their title then they’re going to have to get some help from other teams, probably Udinese and Atalanta.
